It’s better to get a pre-approval letter from your lender before you start looking for a house. You want to set yourself up to be the strongest buyer possible. When a seller knows your financing is secure, your offer is taken more seriously. By going through, the pre-approval process, you will have an estimated budget and know what price range you can afford.
Find your dream home with a professional team:
Real Estate agent --- We strongly suggest working with a real estate agent. Real Estate professionals are valuable partners in the process, they not only help you to find your home but also negotiate the price with the seller and can advise you with their expertise about the house, neighborhood, market trends…etc.
Attorney ----- will negotiate the price and terms, review contracts, title, survey…etc. They will provide legal counsel, represent you at the closing, and most importantly, look out for your best interests.
Home inspector --- will walk through the house to inspect the electrical, plumbing, rooms, and overall condition to ensure that there aren’t any problems.
Loan Process Started:
After receiving the fully executed contract of sale, the loan application is submitted, and normally will receive a commitment letter within 3 business days. We will walk you through every step to Final approval. In the meantime, your attorney will order and review the title report.
Closing:
Finally, the most exciting moment – The Closing. Once the loan is finally approved then we will coordinate with all parties to schedule the closing. This is the big day when you and the seller sign all the legal documents and exchange the check and the keys to your new home.
