My name is Oi Yan (Sara) Yan, some of you may know me by my maiden name Sara Ng. I have more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry.

I began my career as a loan processor at a large corporate bank and later became a Senior Loan Officer at a Mortgage Banker. Because I began my career as a loan processor, I am intimately familiar and knowledgeable when it comes to loan guidelines and processes.

I understand that buying a house can be stressful and intimidating. Borrowers could overlook potential savings opportunities, or worse, drastically overpay if a loan doesn’t fit their needs. Therefore, I believe it is vital to educate my clients, verify documentation so they have a pre-approval in hand and prepare them for homeownership. With my in-depth knowledge and years of experience, it allows me an exceedingly high success rate of closings along with exceptional customer satisfaction ratings and reviews often from repeat and returning customers.

I love my job because I believe my job is meaningful. It always brings me great pleasure when I see my clients sitting at the closing table. The happiness and joy of finally purchasing their own home is priceless. For that reason I always say they are not my clients but my friends and family.

Fun fact about me: being a nature lover I am an outdoor person and greatly enjoy hiking and camping. Besides being a mortgage loan officer, my dream job is to work at a zoo or World Wildlife Fund as a wildlife rehabilitator.
